I had a great time photographing one of the most lovable people in my life…my mother-in-law, Kim, and her husband, Hung. I cannot beleive that it has been 5 years since they walked down the aisle. Time has definitely flown by, but they haven’t aged a bit and their love has only grown stronger. 
Although the day was gloomy and on the brink of sprinkling, we embraced the cold weather and made for a dramatic and romantic photo shoot. We sought to be adventurous but unexpected trains bulleting through the railroad tracks may be a stretch. It’s unbelievable how fast these trains come at you. Even though we heard the warning horns from a distance, we were unable to completely clear the tracks and found our backs up against a fence just about a foot away from the steaming locomotive.
Thank goodness no one got hurt amidst a near death experience because at the end of the day, we walked away with laughs, smiles, and photographs to share. As you can see, Kim and Hung are so young at heart as they rocked the more modern railroad scenery.
I hope you guys are ready for…..dum da da dum… can I get a drum roll please….. TOTAL hotness! I’ve been excited to post these images since the time I took them! It was a sexy and playful experience for everyone involved to say the least! I would like to give a HUGE thanks to all the the smokin’ HOT ladies and vendors for a spectacular job well done. Going “Greene” is the ever more popular and trendy movement that is sweeping the country. Well I got to experience “the movement” first hand by spending an action packed afternoon with the bubbly Greene family. From top to bottom, they each possess a unique personality; however, their strengths lie not from their individualism but from their family bond, which is reminiscent of the classic Brady Bunch family.
I was especially blown away by the cooperativeness and natural modeling skills of the kids. It didn’t hurt either that Lan and Shawn came prepared with snacks and tricks up their sleeves to keep these munchkins happy! Kudos to you guys!

It delights me to announce that Nyla and Greg are now hitched. They tied the knot in late-February and held an unforgettable and intimate wedding reception in San Diego. Not only was their marriage a union between two souls in love, but also a union between families that undeniably adore each other. This love emerged from the fusion of different traditions and from observing the heart-felt interaction shared between the unified families, I suspect a bond that will last for generations to come… It’s truly a dream combination.
One of the highlights of the wedding was Greg’s deeply moving speech that brought everyone to tears. The tear-jerker speech went something like, “You can forget what people say or what they do, but you will never forget how they make you feel.” It was evident that he was referring to his beautiful bride. :)
Nyla & Greg: Thanks for allowing me to capture the purest form of love on your special day. May this be the beginning of a lifetime filled with wonderful memories to come.
